As the visionary behind Blue Sands Academy, Alero leads the organization with her passion for bridging the digital gender gap in Nigeria and Africa. Her role involves developing the academy’s strategy, overseeing program delivery, and ensuring that the vision of empowering girls with ICT skills is realized. Alero also represents Blue Sands Academy at international platforms, building partnerships to expand the academy’s reach.

Program Manager
The program manager is responsible for the smooth execution of all training programs, competitions, and events. They coordinate with trainers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure that each program is aligned with Blue Sands Academy’s goals. This role also includes managing the logistics for competitions and mentoring sessions, ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need.
Lead Educators and Trainers
Our educators specialize in various fields such as UI/UX Design, Web Development, Coding, and Mobile App Development. They design and deliver curriculum tailored to the unique needs of young girls, ensuring they develop practical and marketable skills. These educators also mentor students, guiding them through projects, competitions, and their overall career path in technology.
Technical Mentors
These are industry professionals and experienced technologists who provide mentorship to our students. Their role involves offering guidance on real-world tech challenges, helping students refine their skills, and preparing them for competitions or professional careers in STEM. They also introduce students to emerging tech trends and help them develop their portfolios.
Community Outreach Coordinators
Our outreach team works directly with rural communities, identifying girls and women who can benefit from our programs.
